To achieve the floating effect, we add 1/2" to 3/4" to your artwork's dimensions so that there will be a roughly 1/4" to 3/8" space all around your artwork. Mounting your canvas into this frame takes a bit more time since you have to make sure the space is even all the way around.

  2. Standard Floating Gap:
    We automatically include approximately 1/4" gap on each side to create the floating effect.
    No-gap options are not recommended, as the floating gap is essential to this frame style.
  3. Match Canvas & Frame Depth:
    Ensure your canvas thickness (depth) closely matches the floater frame depth for a proper fit and clean appearance.
  4. Measure Accurately:
    Always measure your canvas width, height, and depth precisely to avoid fit issues.
  5. Allow Proper Tolerance:
    A slight clearance ensures easy installation and prevents pressure on the canvas edges.
  6. Select Face Width & Finish:
    Narrow frames create a modern feel, while wider profiles make a bold statement. Choose a finish that complements your artwork and space.
  7. Hardware Included:
