Uneven Cooling  Uneven cooling occurs when different regions of a 3D printed part cool at varying rates, leading to warping, cracking, or layer separation. It is caused by improper fan settings, ambient temperature fluctuations, or complex geometries. Advanced printers use directed airflow, temperature-controlled chambers, or adaptive cooling profiles for uniform cooling. Proper print orientation, infill patterns, and material selection minimize uneven cooling effects. It is particularly important for high-temperature polymers like ABS, Nylon, and Polycarbonate.
